In Isaiah we read, "And a little child shall lead them."

In Isaiah we read, "And a little child shall lead them." This was our experience, for it was through the illness of our baby boy that we were led to Christian Science. Having enjoyed the blessings of this wonderful truth for several years, I desire to express publicly my gratitude for benefits received.

When a young girl I had a fall which was said to have injured the spine. This brought on a complication of diseases from which I never knew a well day for many years. Ten years ago our baby boy, who was seemingly injured at birth, was about to pass on after materia medica had exhausted all its resources. When the physician left, the thought came to pray, but error argued that I had prayed for years for health and my prayers had remained unanswered; however, I listened to the still, small voice which said to pray anyway. I knelt, praying as I never had before, repeatedly asking God to show me the way to Him and give me light! In less than an hour Christian Science was presented to me and a practitioner was called.

The healing came slowly, and I was often beset with discouragement, but I knew the teaching was true, and Jesus said, "He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." Severe headaches were the first to vanish, the nervousness and depression, and sense of great sorrow over the loss of a dear one yielding later. In about ten months I was permanently healed, and the baby about two months afterwards. I rejoice greatly that during those months I lost sight of the physical need in the wonderful transformation which was going on in my thought daily and hourly.
