The Red Cross

The humanitarian work of the Red Cross deserves the recognition and support of all our citizens.

Christian Scientists have assisted and will continue to assist the Red Cross in their work of mercy through financial contributions and by their loving cooperation in every consistent way to the end that the usefulness of the Red Cross may be increased and the efficiency of its humanitarian service upheld. It should not be lost sight of, however, that The Mother Church has established and is maintaining extensive war relief agencies which are being constantly extended and which are accomplishing satisfactory and farreaching results. Christian Scientists naturally feel that their first allegiance is to this work and that the first demand for their support is from their own war relief activities.
