When I think of the blessings I have received through Christian Science, I feel impelled to give my testimony as the best way to express my gratitude and by so doing help some one else. For thirty-five years I had suffered from what is known as inflammatory rheumatism, and when I came into Christian Science I was using crutches. After traveling from one state to another under the orders of the doctors, growing worse all the time, I was told that nothing could be done for me. Shortly after this I was advised by a friend to try Christian Science, and on heeding this advice was healed instantaneously and permanently.

This healing occurred twenty-three years ago, and since then a very bad rupture has been overcome. I am well and hearty. Although past seventy-seven years of age I have been motoring all over southern California this summer, and drove the car myself. This is not all, however, for I find the moral uplift above everything. I am very grateful that I have all of Mrs. Eddy's works and am a subscriber to the regular Christian Science literature; in fact I read little else. I am truly thankful for my many blessings.
