About five years ago I turned to Christian Science for physical healing. At that time I was suffering from what two physicians called intercostal neuralgia. The physician under whose care I had been for about eight months and who stands high in his profession said he had given me everything he knew of that was applicable to the case in the line of medicine, and could offer me no encouragement that I would ever be permanently cured. Acting on his advice I then tried other kinds of treatment, but received little benefit. Christian Science was very highly recommended to me, and so I turned to that. With the first treatment I received help and when I had been under treatment five weeks the pain all disappeared.

Since that time I have relied wholly on Christian Science and have always received help. The Bible was a book which I had never read, but in connection with the Christian Science textbook it has become the most interesting of all books to me. I know the promises there are meant for us to-day. It is my wish to be more obedient to the teachings of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and to be worthy to be called a Christian Scientist.
