I want to tell all the lame people in this world of my healing. When I came in touch with Christian Science I was a hopeless paralytic, pronounced incurable by physicians, also specialists in such diseases. The malady came upon me in Montana in the Rocky Mountains, and the best advice I was able to obtain was to get to a low altitude as quickly as possible, where I might last several years. To impress the seriousness of my condition upon me one physician said, "You are liable to topple over at any time, no matter where you go."

My state of mind can readily be imagined when I was told by an old friend who had become interested in Christian Science that through Science I could be healed. I began the study of Science and Health, and within six months was healed without direct treatments for the disease. I know the healing is permanent, for it took place fifteen years ago; I also know positively that the truth as taught in Christian Science was my redeemer, as it has been ever since, for which I am certainly grateful.
