I herewith testify to the fact that a year and a half ago I was healed of gallstones and kidney trouble through Christian Science. I was also freed from pain in the joints. My condition was very serious, and all medical efforts had failed. When, therefore, a well-known physician whom I consulted last, and in whom I had utmost confidence, wrapped himself in silence and directed me to another physician, saying that I needed constant medical supervision, I grew desperate. In my need Christian Science appeared as the saving angel, and in three weeks' time I was completely healed. Although my husband had no faith in this teaching when I started to have treatment, he let me have my own way; but when he beheld the results he could hardly recover from his astonishment and began to take an interest in the subject.

Christian Science has become the light that illumines our path, and has proved a great help to us in every circumstance, because we are able to apply its teachings everywhere and at any time. Especially in these days it is being shown to us that with the light of Truth we may remain untouched by either discord or any seeming lack. For all these blessings we are grateful to God, and thankful to our noble Leader, as well as to our dear helpers in Science, and our endeavor is to prove our gratitude by our actions.
