I wish to add my testimony to the many others given in gratitude for blessings that have come through Christian Science. I did not take up this study for the healing, but with a desire for a better understanding of God and man's relation to Him, and I have found a God of love, "Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases."

I was instantaneously healed of sciatic rheumatism through absent treatment. The attack came on suddenly, and the pain was so severe that it was impossible to help myself. While a Christian Science practitioner was giving me treatment I went to sleep for about ten minutes, and on awaking all pain was gone. I arose and walked to chair, then asked for something to eat, as I had not been able to retain food. This was a complete healing, for the following day I was about the house as usual. I was healed of deafness after having been deprived of hearing for many months. Absent treatment was given me for three weeks, when suddenly the hearing was restored as I sat reading after returning from one of our church services. I could hear the ticking of the clock across the room, and my heart went out in thanksgiving to God for His goodness, and in gratitude to our dear Leader for this beautiful truth. I am grateful not only for the physical healing, but even more for the spiritual understanding and the proof that our Father is abundantly able to supply all our needs. — Sarah A.
