Christian Science healed me of a malignant growth on the face, from which I had suffered for twenty-five years. I read Science and Health and as many of Mrs. Eddy's other writings as I can get. Every ailment which troubled me has been healed since I began this reading. I had taken medicine for eighty-nine years, but I know now that Truth is the only true remedy. I am thankful I found the truth in this life.

It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I confirm the above statement. My grandmother not only suffered for twenty-five years from a malignant growth, but had acquired the drug habit, morphine having been recommended by her physician as the only means of easing the pain. She asked for Christian Science treatment in September, 1914. There was immediate relief from pain, and the drug was gradually reduced until she was able to rely wholly on Christian Science treatment. By Thanksgiving day her face was partly healed, and in January, 1915, there was not a sign of the trouble, not even a scar. She was also free from the drug habit. A physician had stated that she could not live if the drug was taken from her, but she is perfectly well today, has gained flesh, and is as active as she was years ago. Although ninety years old, she occasionally attends our services and lectures.
