On account of a structural defect of the eyes, for which glasses had been worn about twenty years, a friend advised me to attend Christian Science services. The following Sunday, Oct. 12, 1913, I went to a Christian Science service for the first time, and noticed that very few of those present wore glasses. Upon my return home I removed the glasses and read for a short time in Mrs. Eddy's book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and have not used them since that day. About the first of January, 1915, the left eye became inflamed, and a growth appeared on the eyeball, obscuring the vision so that I was nearly blind for a few days, and the pain at times was intense. On Jan. 20 a Christian Science practitioner was asked to treat me, and in about three days improvement was manifest. After two weeks the trouble was so nearly gone that treatment was discontinued. Complete healing followed, and the vision is now perfect. I have also been healed of a form of appendicitis which had afflicted me for many years.

Words feebly express my gratitude for these wonderful demonstrations of divine healing. My earnest desire is for a better understanding of God and of Christian Science. I am thankful to the kind friends who so generously helped me while reaching out for the truth; may God bless them abundantly.—Albert Tinkcom, Franklinville, N. Y.
