About ten years ago Christian Science was brought to my notice by a friend who had been healed of an abnormal growth in a very short time and by absent treatment. This seemed to me wonderful; but although at that time in great need of help, I was not quite ready to try Christian Science for myself. A few weeks later, however, suffering from nervous depression, great sorrow, and discouragement, as well as many physical ills, I turned to it for the healing alone, and was healed of many ailments from which I had suffered and for which I had been treated by doctors for many years. With my healing came the lifting of a great sense of fear, doubt, and confusion.

I am most thankful to God, who is Love, and grateful to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has revealed to us in her text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," an omnipresent and omnipotent God, good. My desire is to reflect something of this good that has come to me, and in that way to help others. A better understanding is being gained through the study of our Lesson-Sermon each day, also a greater love for the Bible.
