Some time ago, while talking with a friend who had been beautifully healed in Christian Science, she seemed to think it strange that a certain ailment had not been healed. I told her we must be truly grateful for what we have already received before we can hope to gain more; but then I questioned myself. Had I been truly grateful for all the blessings that have come to me while studying the Bible with the light thrown on it by our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy? Had I not often let error prevent me from giving my testimony, although knowing the benefit I have received from reading those of others in our periodicals?

It is eight years since the truth dawned on my consciousness, and during all that time it has met every need. A bowel disorder of long standing, headache, an attack of influenza, a sprain sustained by a fall, an illness that I feel sure was malarial fever,—all have been destroyed by the power of Truth. Christian Science has taught me what it means through Principle to love one's neighbor as one's self, and has given me moral courage. My daughter, who is a member of the Christian Science Sunday school, and who is gaining a most remarkable and helpful understanding of the Bible and of Science and Health, has aided me as well as herself many times, and has overcome in herself a throat affection to which she seemed subject before coming into Science. Christian Science helps her to solve all the problems that come into a young girl's life, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the Sunday school teachers who so lovingly give their time and thought to the work.

Words seem meaningless to express all the love I feel for Christ Jesus the Wayshower, and my gratitude to our revered Leader, who through her life and works has made all these things possible for us.
