When I first began the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," I did not seem to understand the book very well, so I stopped reading it for a few months. When I again took up the study, I decided to give up medicine and see how I got along, with the result that I was healed right away of chronic bowel disorder. I also gained in weight, and have become much more happy. I have not taken any medicine since December, 1912. I read the Bible and the Christian Science text-book daily, and have also been reading other books by Mrs. Eddy, as well as the Christian Science periodicals, and I trust that I may be able to learn more of the truth that makes free.

I have now gained a sufficient understanding of Christian Science practice to be able to use it with good results for myself and others. I am so glad that I started to study Science and Health the second time, and I have continued in this course. I have gained a better understanding of God, for which I am thankful, and naturally have learned to love Him more. I have become more desirous of living in obedience to God's law, and I want to continue to study and learn more about Him. I am so glad our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, had such a clear understanding God that she was able to write Science and Health. Divine Love is indeed "a very present help."—Mirtie E. Robertson, Denver, Col.
