I feel that the time has come to express my gratitude for the healing experienced in several instances through Christian Science. For a number of years I suffered with severe loss of blood, and this greatly weakened me. The physicians wanted to operate, but I would not consent. In the mean time I heard of Christian Science. After the first treatment I experienced an improvement, and after the third I felt like a new being, while the reading of the Christian Science literature afforded me great joy. My son, nine years old, was also benefited by Christian Science. When on one occasion he had an attack of rheumatism of the joints and the physician whom we consulted failed to bring relief, I went to a Christian Science practitioner and asked for treatment. I stopped giving the boy medicine, treatment in Christian Science was begun, and we relied implicitly on God's help. Things thereby took a turn for the better, and the boy's health is now as good as formerly. I am most deeply thankful to God, and grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy. Would that all sick people were healed in this way!
