We wish to express our gratitude to Christian Science...

We wish to express our gratitude to Christian Science for the many demonstrations of healing in our family, but more especially for the healing of our little boy, five years old, of a most severe case of infantile paralysis. He was taken ill on Monday night, and it was not until Tuesday morning that we realized what the trouble was. By this time he was unconscious, and the little body was drawn and twisted. We at once called for help in Christian Science, but he apparently grew steadily worse. In the evening a medical who asked to see him, said our boy was dying, that it would probably be only a few hours before he would pass away, but that if he did live he would be a cripple and probably an idiot all his life. Nevertheless we clung to the truth, knowing that as God's child he could not be anything but strong and well. All this time the practitioner was working for him, and about two o'clock Wednesday morning he sank into a natural sleep and his color became normal. He slept nearly all day, only rousing to take food,—the first he had retained since Sunday. The limbs straightened out and the paralysis of bowels and muscles left him. On Thursday he walked down—stairs to lunch, and the following Monday morning started to school entirely healed. He was examined by a physician and the school nurse and pronounced absolutely well.

To us this was a most wonderful demonstration of the allness of God, and we are deeply thankful to Him, also grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who has enabled us to know Christian Science and its glorious message.
