I have most fervently desired wisdom and understanding,...
I have most fervently desired wisdom and understanding, and have been led to see that I must trust in the Lord with all my heart, and lean not to mine own understanding. Through the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" I have been able to overcome bowel disorder of long standing. I have been greatly helped through the writings and testimonies in the Journal and Sentinel; and the Lesson-Sermon, with the Bible, is my daily food. My desire is to have more and more of the Mind of Christ. I am so situated that I can seldom get to the public place of worship, even to the Sunday service; but Truth and Love are over all, and true worship is confined to neither time nor place. I desire to be more thankful to God, and grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, whose pure life and work made it possible for us to get a more spiritual interpretation of the Scriptures.
I consider my healing complete and have lost all fear of any recurrence of the trouble. I am grateful beyond expression for that, and for all other blessings which have come to me through my knowledge and acceptance of Christian Science.—Elizabeth R. King, Southampton, L. I., N. Y.
