As written in the Monitor, "Thanksgiving is thanksliving,"...
As written in the Monitor, "Thanksgiving is thanksliving," and we are trying to live our gratitude for the many good things Christian Science has given this household. Healing, both physical and spiritual, has been ours, and many times the present availability of the great Physician has been proven to us. Dispositions have been improved, habits have been dropped, and lives have been improved in every way. The last of three children was brought to us in Science, and the birth was absolutely painless. The mother was up the second day, and on the third day took entire charge of the child. The nurse left the same day. The attending physician marveled and carried away with her some literature, at the same time expressing the desire to know more about Christian Science. At one time we had three cases of severe illness in the family, one child being out of her head the first night; but in each case the conditions were successfully met and overcome through absent treatment in Christian Science, and by the fifth night all were free and well. Thus we are trying "thanksliving," and giving thanks for this new-old Science.—L. D. MacGibeny, Woodbury Heights, N. J.
