I feel it my duty to testify to the power of Truth, and I do so with a sense of deep thankfulness to God, and gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.

In September, 1912, my little girl, then six years old, stepped on a nail when going to bed. She told me about it and began to cry, the pain was so intense. I read to her from Science and Health, as I had done in other cases, but she seemed to grow worse. She cried a great deal and her foot became red and swollen; then a large blister formed where the nail had entered the foot, and the third day it turned black. I began to be frightened, so I asked for help in Christian Science. After a week of absent treatment, the foot was healed.—Sarah Nessler, Chicago, Ill.
