Two years ago I suffered with severe rheumatic pain. I attended the Christian Science services and read Der Herold der Christian Science assiduously, but I did not seem to get any relief, presumably owing to my lack of understanding. I therefore went to a practitioner, who very kindly explained things to me as viewed in Christian Science and gave me a treatment. I then had absent treatment for two weeks, when the pain left entirely. About six months later I became afflicted with a very unpleasant eruption round the neck, and this condition began to extend to the face. I wrote to the practitioner, and as she had gone to Austria, I again received absent treatment. This proved a wonderful experience, for within a short time the eruption disappeared completely.
