It was through a student of Christian Science in Sydney...
It was through a student of Christian Science in Sydney that I first heard of its healing power. This attracted me, for I was a physical wreck, and was under a specialist for nervous breakdown, heart trouble, and a complication of ailments. I was most wretched, thinking I would be a trial to my friends; so when this student mentioned that healing was brought about through the understanding of the Scriptures as explained by Mrs. Eddy's text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," I was more than willing to be introduced to a practitioner for treatment, though I hardly understood about giving up drugs, as I had taken them for years, and each year they had been stronger and had become more obnoxious. When I learned that they had to be given up, I could not realize what it meant, but was assured that divine Love needed no help. From the first treatment I began to improve visibly; I may say that my help was instantaneous. To me it was wonderful. Before leaving for Queensland I went to say good-by to the medical nerve specialist, who looked at me in astonishment.
I can never be grateful enough for the many benefits which Christian Science has brought into my life and the great joy it gives me to help others. I have also had some beautiful demonstrations, in this way, of the power of Truth.
Mrs. A. L. Mytton, Sydney, Australia.
