[Written for the Sentinel]
God is All
Life
has become so sweet,
Each day with joy I greet,—
God is my all.
To me each passing hour
Is like an opening flower
Unfolding Spirit's power,
For God is All.
My feet no more can stray;
Spirit now leads the way,
And God is All.
Mine eyes now see the light;
Truth leads me in the right;
I know there is no night,
For God is All.
The truth has made me free;
With undimmed eyes I see
That God is All.
From this exalted view
The skies are always blue,
All things are good and true,
Since God is All.
Love with its "still small voice"
Now makes my heart rejoice
That God is All.
I now am satisfied;
I know, whate'er betide,
That Love is by my side,
And God is All.
