Los Angeles, Cal. —Interior finish is now being given to the handsome new building being erected for First Church of Christ, Scientist, at Alvarado terrace and Alvarado street, and in about two months it is expected to be ready for occupancy. Services are now conducted in the Sunday school room in the basement. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 1,125, but this can be increased to 1,300 by opening the foyer into it. The Sunday school room will seat 900.

Aberdeen, Wash.—Improvements to cost between ten and twelve hundred dollars are being made to the Christian Science edifice on West First street. The changes include several additional windows, the taking out of partitions, an attractive front entrance, and redecoration. The Christian Science people have a sinking fund for building, and they anticipate erecting a beautiful structure at some future time.
