I have read and studied carefully an article signed with the initials "E. A. F.," which purports to be an attack on Christian Science and Christian Science practitioners. As a matter of fact, it is neither. The entire letter is merely one person's views about what he thinks Christian Science is and what he thinks Christian Science practitioners stand for. Mere opinion is valueless in determining the truth about any subject. For many years my own opinions led me to be even more violent in denouncing Christian Science and its healing and saving methods than our friend has deemed it wise to do. But about five years ago I suddenly remembered that it was utterly impossible to learn the truth about any subject from its enemies, and immediately I purchased the text–book of Christian Science. There is only one, and it is called "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. This book can be procured at the public library in your city gratis. In no other way can the absolute truth about genuine Christian Science be gained.

It is an interesting and astounding fact that for nearly a half century Christian Science has been meeting and replying to letters and articles similar to the one in a recent issue, and today Christian Science is the fastest growing religious organization in the world.
