I have felt for some time that I should testify to the benefits I have received through Christian Science. The Bible says, "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so." I have certainly been redeemed from sorrow, fear, self-pity, selfishness, worry, a sense of lack, and also from many other sins. Then, too, I have been healed of physical ills, although I have not had many of these to bear. In this connection the Bible story of the children of Israel and their bondage to the Egyptians is recalled with great force, and it seems plain to me that any thought to which we give power is our ruler, that will not let us go so long as we believe that this error has power to hold us back. The only way to wake up out of this belief is to know that God is the only power; and the only way we can know this, and prove it, is to study Christian Science, together with the Bible, and then as we gain in understanding and realize what God is and what man is, we are allowed to go. Christ, Truth, parts the waves of error, that we may walk through and be free.

I have been reading the Christian Science literature for over three years, and I feel and know that I have never lived before, and although to mortal sense I have lost all those in the flesh who were dear to me, I never feel alone, because I have a sense of God as my constant companion, and I can truthfully say that I never was so happy in my life as I have been during these last three years. My daily prayer is for wisdom and understanding, and my gratitude for Christian Science, and thankfulness to our dear Leader, is beyond expression.—Jessie Moffat, Indianapolis, Ind.
