Some time ago I had an attack of pain in my back, and after a week of distress and fear, when all material means had failed, I asked for help in Christian Science. The practitioner began to treat me in the morning, and by night I was able to stand erect, sit down, and rise from my chair with comparative ease. In three days I was completely healed, and my back has not troubled me since. I am seventy-four years old and consider myself a well man. I am reading Science and Health, and am deeply thankful to God for all that Mrs. Eddy's book teaches, and for the healing, which in my case was through absent treatment.
