Christian Science came to my attention when I was a very unhappy woman, as well as a very discontented one; but this condition has been replaced by happiness and contentment through the study and understanding of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. First, I was healed of chronic nervousness. Later, I had a severe burn, caused by pouring boiling grease on my hand and arm. I treated myself at once; and though some blisters appeared, I was able to rest all night and continue with my work the next day, the evidence of the burn soon disappearing. I am grateful for these demonstrations, and many other blessings, and I trust I shall be able in a measure to express this gratitude for our Leader's patient work for humanity.—Mary Vandeveder, Denver, Col.
