It is with great pleasure and happiness that I wish to speak of a healing in Christian Science which took place under my eyes. My husband, who had been seized with delirium tremens, was taken to Bellevue hospital, where he lay very ill for many days without coming to his senses. I visited him every day, and one evening I was told that he was dying, that he had hardly an hour to live. I ran to tell a friend, a Christian Science practitioner, this verdict, and she returned with me, accompanied by one of her sons, that I might not be alone. Every few minutes one or another of the physicians came in, declaring that my husband was about to die. Then a most extraordinary thing occurred. The Scientist demanded silence, and prayed for him, treating him after the manner of Christian Science. We remained for several hours afterward, until the doctors on their rounds told me I could go home, saying, "Your husband is better; he is not going to die." Since this, he has continued to improve, and for myself I have no doubt whatever that Christian Science brought about this healing, and I am happy to testify to the same.
ZoÉ J. Muller, New York, N. Y.
With my heart full of love and gratitude to God, I wish to tell of the blessings that have come to me through Christian Science. I had suffered from heart trouble, supposedly inherited, for fourteen years, and in March, 1909, I had appendicitis and was in bed for a month. After I got up I had to be very careful, as I was always expecting a return of the illness.
