In Christian Science we are taught that we should daily protect ourselves against the admission of error in any form into our consciousness. Carelessness on my part recently permitted an attack of disease to fasten itself upon me to a degree which made necessary the calling of a practitioner; but the healing came quickly, and it was thorough. I gratefully acknowledge the untiring zeal of the one who came to my aid, and also the efficiency of Christian Science in destroying error, disease. The most important lesson gained, however, was that of the need for constant watchfulness on our part to protect ourselves in Science against the illusiveness of error, which is often so insidious as at first to escape our notice.
