Would you run and not be weary,Would you walk and never faint,Would you gain eternal freedom?Never listen to complaint.Would you see your skies grow brighterUnto everlasting day?Seek ye first of all the kingdom;Christ will lead you all the way.

Would you drink the living water,Would you eat the bread of Life,Would you heal the broken-hearted,Banish every sense of strife?Claim for yours each precious promiseWrit by patriarch of old;Seek ye first of all the kingdom;It will wondrous wealth unfold.
