For about eight years I suffered from stomach trouble. At times for a whole week I could keep nothing on my stomach, not even the lightest kind of food. The pain would extend upward through my chest and would be so intense that I would lock my jaws in agony, and I sometimes prayed to God to let me die, that I might be released from suffering. Nothing that I could do would give me relief, until about eighteen months ago I began to read the Christian Science literature that our daughter sent us, when I soon experienced a change for the better. Later she sent us a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and I had not studied it very long before I found I was entirely well. I was also healed of other ailments, such as female weakness and neuralgia, and my husband was healed of the liquor habit.

We both thank God for His goodness, and are trying to have our lives express our gratitude to Him for all that He has done for us through Christian Science. We are also very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for showing us the way to this saving truth.
