Six years ago this healing truth was brought to me by a dear lady whose life in Christian Science had been like a beautiful song to me. I was ill, so ill that I had not walked for four weeks, and though materia medica did all it could, it made many undesirable laws for me should I get well. One Wednesday, however, this friend told me of the truth, that God is Life and Love, that in Him is man's strength, and on Friday I went down-town. The old trouble did not return.

Since then we have had many proofs of this great truth with our two children, and Truth is indeed an ever-present help. I now realize a greater sense of gratitude than ever before, and my chief need is a fuller understanding of Truth and Love. I am truly grateful to God for Christian Science, and also to Mrs. Eddy.
