I desire publicly to express my gratitude to God, also to our dear Leader for the many blessings received through Christian Science. I came to this truth through the healing of my mother, and since then I have had many beautiful demonstrations in my own home, but will only speak of two.

About the middle of August, on a Saturday afternoon, an attack of illness came on, and I at once began to treat myself as best I could. On Sunday morning I seemed no better, as I was quite hoarse and there was a very painful condition of the throat. That afternoon I thought best to call on a practitioner to help me, and she took up my case at once. On Monday morning I felt much better, and went across the street to see a neighbor on a little business. While talking to her I fainted, but I soon regained consciousness enough to declare the truth, and in a few minutes I was able to go home alone. In the afternoon I was able to go to the practitioner's home, and after a few treatments I was well.

My little boy, six years old, awakened one morning quite sick with a fever. I began to declare the truth at once, but feeling that I needed help I telephoned to a practitioner. She began treatment, but for three nights the child seemed very ill. He did not sleep five minutes at a time, and the second night he could not swallow even water. On Saturday afternoon he was able to be taken home, for I was at my mother's when he became ill. On Monday he was able to go with me to the practitioner's home, and in less than two weeks he was perfectly well. I never thought of calling in a doctor, but I did not allow any other children to go into the room. I am truly grateful to Mrs. Eddy for this healing truth.—Mrs. Beulah Gafford, Crowell, Texas.
