It is with a grateful heart that I relate what Christian Science has done for me. So far as my mother knows, I was born with a lameness all down my left side and never had the proper use of my left hand. Moreover, my left leg was a little shorter than the other. At one time I went to a specialist in such cases, and in the first instance I was much benefited, though the operation was a very painful one, but the second time I went no benefit was realized, and we made no further effort, as the proper use of my hand had not been gained.

About two years ago we heard of Christian Science, and with a little over two weeks' treatment from a practitioner I was told that I could wear an ordinary boot, which I did for the first time in my life. I can thankfully say that Christian Science is guiding me into the truth that sets us free. My foot is now perfectly normal, and my arm is gaining strength daily. I know that in a short time it will be quite as useful as the other. It is with love and gratitude that I give this testimony, hoping that it may encourage some dear one to learn from Christian Science that "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494). I cannot express what I owe to God for giving us such a Leader as Mrs. Eddy. Words are too weak to tell all that my heart feels.
