Not long ago I was seized with a violent attack of bowel trouble which greatly weakened me, so much so that during the night I was taken with a fainting-spell and fell to the floor with a light in my hand. I hurt myself in such a way as to experience great pain on the following day, the suffering becoming seemingly unbearable. This was the condition I was in when the practitioner to whom I had sent word came to see me; but she bravely took up work and Truth soon drove all error out of my consciousness. The healing went on slowly but surely, and in two weeks' time I was again able to perform all my work. For this proof of the power of divine Love I am deeply grateful.

I am indeed grateful for what Christian Science has done for me, and desire to give my testimony, with the hope that it may be the means of helping someone who may be suffering as I was. For more than eight years I was almost a physical and nervous wreck from sleeplessness and extreme nervousness, scarcely going to bed a night in all that time feeling that I could go to sleep without the use of drugs. I was greatly depressed mentally, and almost without any hope of ever being well again, until four years ago, when Christian Science healed me.
