I feel truly thankful for the blessings that have come to me since the time of my sickness, when all seemed dark. I was under the care of doctors for a long time, who said I had female trouble, tumorous growths, kidney disease, and other ailments. I discarded drugs, as I had lost all faith in them, or any other form of material remedy, and wrote to a Christian Science practitioner for absent treatment. I am now enjoying good health, and can do all my housework, including washing and ironing. Surely the Scriptures are fulfilled, "He sent his word, and healed them."

I have never had the pleasure of attending a Christian Science church, there being no church near me, but I study the Lesson-Sermons, and the more I study the better I can realize the truth of Jesus' promise, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." I cannot find words to express my gratitude to God, also to Mrs. Eddy for the help I have had in Christian Science. I shall never forget the loving-kindness I have received from a faithful practitioner, and I hope to be able sometime to help others as I have been helped. May this lead some one to find the bright side of life, as I have found it.
