I have promised myself several times that I would publicly express my gratitude to God for His goodness in bringing to me the little understanding of Christian Science that I have. I am pressing onward, and through this truth am certainly a better man in many ways.

Christian Science came to me some six years ago, when to mortal thought I was about to pass on. The medical men who had ministered to me all my life up to the time above mentioned, had reached the limit of their ability, so I declined further assistance from them. Since that time I have had no need of their mortal theories, for through an understanding of God's unlimited goodness to all His children, and with the help of a faithful practitioner, I was restored to health and strength in a short time. Thus stimulated, I took up the study of Christian Science as explained in the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy.

Before Christian Science came to me I was what is called a man of the world; I had no use for the Bible, but now I see it in a far different light and could not get along without it, nor without Christian Science as taught in Mrs. Eddy's works.—Jos. H. Weeks, Battle Creek, Mich.
