Too long have I neglected to acknowledge the manifold blessings which have come to our family through the understanding of God as taught us in Christian Science. All forms of error have been overcome by the application of this truth, which to understand does indeed make us free. I will mention a few ailments which have been overcome. A very bad case of an eruptive disease was perfectly healed in a few days. On a previous occasion, when I was under materia medica, I was in bed for nearly a month and could not wait on myself. Finally I had to endure the application of caustic. Besides this, rheumatism, throat trouble, etc., were cured; and last, but not least, our daughter, who has had a complication of illnesses, has been perfectly healed. Only God can know our gratitude for this wonderful proof of divine Love. It was a case that took years of patient waiting and knowing that God is the only power.

Words fail me when I try to express our gratitude to our beloved Leader for making it possible for the world to understand what the Scriptures really mean. Only as we live this truth, and strive to have the Mind which was in Christ, are we worthy to be called Christian Scientists.
