O Truth! Thy potent touch dissolvesThe densest structure wrong may rear,Gives man his birthright—freedom, might,And brings him heaven now and here.

O Love! all-present, at thy voiceThe hosts of evil, vanquished, flee;Where mercy, justice, goodness, dwell,There error finds no place to be.
