I am glad to tell what Christian Science has done for me, and it is with a heart full of love and gratitude that I give my testimony, trusting that it may help some one else. Some time ago I got up one morning with a headache, which grew worse until I went to bed, and the next morning I still suffered from it, and I also had a fever. I was in this condition for about four days; and on Thursday a physician was called, and he pronounced my trouble inflammation of the bowels and stomach. He said I was in a critical condition, and left some medicine for me to take. I took the medicine and followed his directions from Thursday until the next Monday, but I did not improve. On Monday afternoon my condition became so bad that I could not retain the medicine. Tuesday morning I tired to sit up, but I got dizzy and fainted.

That day my parents sent word to a Christian Science practitioner to treat me, and they also sent for my aunt, who was a Christian Scientist. About a half hour after my aunt commenced treatment I began to feel better, and when she got to my home, about eight o'clock, I was perfectly well, except for a little weakness. On Wednesday I ate heartily, and on Thursday I did my usual work. I am indeed thankful to God, and also to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for this truth.—Agnes Cline, Havensville, Kan.
