In November, 1910, I was taken ill with severe inflammation of the throat, abnormal growths having formed, with high fever attending. My mother and myself had heard a good deal about Christian Science, and as I was unwilling to have medical attendance we applied for help in Christian Science. Treatment was taken up lovingly, and after a fortnight I was freed from all my ailments. For this I am most deeply grateful to God, also to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy. The text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," was given me by the kind practitioner as a Christmas present, and I shall strive to know more of God, to learn through the study of the Bible and our text-book how to apply Truth's healing power.
