The gratitude one has for the expression of divine Love...

The gratitude one has for the expression of divine Love given us in Christian Science, is best shown by a truthful, patient, and just endeavor to do unto others as we would that they should do unto us. To work for that Mind to be in us "which was also in Christ Jesus," is to labor for one's daily bread, and this will furnish an unfailing supply. In the light of this new-old understanding of God as infinite and omnipotent good, Mind, Life, Truth, Love, which Christian Science has brought in a measure to my consciousness, there has been an overcoming to a certain degree of an irritable, impatient, and fault-finding disposition, which proves that in the absolute knowledge of good there is all power.

Words alone fail to express my thankfulness for the physical healing, although it was not the primary cause of my interest in Christian Science. Benefits have come to me according to the promise: "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Through a realization of the one Mind numerous physical disturbances (one of long standing) have been overcome, which recalls Mrs. Eddy's statement that "an acknowledgment of the perfection of the infinite Unseen confers a power nothing else can" (Unity of Good, p. 7).
