UNITY IMMORTAL

Unfold more fully to our sight,
O Love that holdeth all in one;
As separate rays converge in light,
Meet we in God, our central sun.

Meet we in omnipresent good
That knows no time, nor space, nor death;
A universal brotherhood,—
One heart, one hope, one life, one breath.

The love that brought together friends,
Will ne'er decrease, but greater grow;
Fulfilling more life's kindly ends,
We'll oftener meet and better know.

The tears of one are wiped by all;
The joy of one all hearts must share;
No straying little one can fall,
When we each other's burdens bear.

Creation still doth groan as one,—
But time nor space can Truth defy.
Dawns unity, immortal sun,
And Love that will not let us die!
