In grateful recognition of what Christian Science has done for me, I desire to give expression to some of the blessings received therefrom. I was not in need of physical healing, but was hungering and thirsting for something better in a spiritual way than I possessed. When Science and Health was placed in my hands, I knew absolutely nothing about it, but it appealed to me from the first and its teachings seemed very beautiful to me. It also seemed reasonable, and I have never for one moment felt any antagonism to Christian Science or to our revered Leader. I am grateful for the enlarged understanding of God, man, and the universe which has come to my consciousness through the study of the Bible as illumined by Science and Health.

Through this understanding I have been able to demonstrate the truth for myself and others. I have had the privilege of class instruction, and I am indeed grateful for all the Christian Science literature, which always brings a special message to me. I am grateful to God, and also to Mrs. Eddy, who has so faithfully and lovingly given to the world the message of Truth and Love.
