I feel it to be a duty to testify to my healing in Christian Science...

I feel it to be a duty to testify to my healing in Christian Science of a severe illness; namely, nervous exhaustion ans stomach trouble. I had been treated by two physicians, and we finally called the third, who said I must go to the hospital right away. I did so, and was treated there for five weeks; still I could not retain anything on my stomach. I went home very little better, and when I had been at home a while I was almost as ill as when I went to the hospital. We called the doctor, and he was very much discouraged.

I had a friend who was a Christian Scientist, and I read some of the literature which she brought me. I thought it very good, but it did not seem possible that Christian Science could help me. When, however, all hope was gone, we called a practitioner, and she gave me fresh courage; she also told me I could eat anything I wanted; which I did, without any bad result. I have had no return of the trouble, and I feel truly grateful for what Christian Science has done for me.—Mrs. Clarence Holt, Oskaloosa, Ia.
