In a late issue the statement is made that the Jew should beware of the "false God of Christian Science." Now the God of Christian Science is none other than the "God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." The Christian Scientist believes in one omnipresent God, and thus affirms the Shemah: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord." The God of Christian Science is not and cannot be false, because this Science declares for the one and only true God. The Christian Scientist, therefore, like the Jew, rejects a manlike God and accepts and builds upon the statement, "God is a Spirit."

There are many reasons why the Jew turns to Christian Science for help. Aside from the practical value, he finds that in this religion Christianity has but returned to the promised Messiah. He also finds the Old Testament illumined, the lore of Israel brought out in all of its spiritual practicality, and the Decalogue in its right setting. With Christianity returned to Truth, he no longer remains an "alien" or a "stranger." Thus it is that "there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."
