AMONG THE CHURCHES

The corner-stone of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Willmar, was laid at six o'clock on the morning of July 26. A copy of the Bible, the text-book, the latest issues of the Christian Science periodicals and local papers, also a list of members, and a historical sketch of the church, were inclosed in an iron box and set in the stone, after which it was put in place—Correspondence.

It was the desire of the members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, here, to distribute and introduce the Monitor during the recent sojourn of the United States fleet in Newport, R. I., and we were able from Thursday until Saturday evening to put out two thousand one hundred and fifty-four copies of the Monitor. There were sixteen vessels, and we sent one hundred of the different issues to each vessel.—Correspondence.
