I feel that I must express my gratitude, in part, for what...

I feel that I must express my gratitude, in part, for what Christian Science has done for me and mine, by writing my testimony. We became interested in Christian Science nine years ago, through some people who became our neighbors, but until about four years ago we never realized the might and worth of this teaching.

The incident which occurred was the healing of my brother, who complained on Friday afternoon of sore throat, though it was not thought to be serious at the time. He, however, grew steadily worse, and when Monday morning came we all knew he must have help of some sort, as he could scarcely speak and his throat was in a terrible condition. When my father asked him to decide which he wanted, Christian Science or medical assistance, he merely intimated that he wanted to get better. A Christian Science practitioner was sent for at once, and she arrived that evening. No change was noticed until about noon on Wednesday, when he was completely healed. Even the swelling had disappeared, and no weakness remained to show that he had been sick.

In the spring of 1909 I was wonderfully healed through absent treatment of a very irritating skin disease. Yet the healing, wonderful as it seemed to be, was indeed small when compared with the spiritual enlightenment I received. We enjoy the Lesson-Sermons, and the Sentinel is always a welcome visitor in our home. We are all very thankful to God for the many, many blessings received from Christian Science,—Zuleika Wallace, Gagetown, Mich.
