About three years ago Christian Science was brought to my notice, and after speaking of it to a friend, I expressed a desire to know something of it. Shortly afterward my friend loaned me a copy of Science and Health. I at once commenced to read it, and I found it to be the truth as taught by Jesus of Nazareth. I made up my mind that I would attend one of the services, and on the Sunday following I went to the evening service. The subject for the day was "Reality." I was very much impressed with the Bible reading and with the service altogether. I thank God with all my heart that "the power of the Lord was present to heal." I left that service healed of a very severe stomach trouble which had caused me much pain and inconvenience for many years. A few weeks later, in the reading-room, I was healed of a very bad eye trouble, from which I had suffered for a long time.

A short time ago the doctor who used to attend me had occasion to call to see me concerning a business transaction. He said that I was a remarkable woman, as I had no traces of any of the old ailments left. It is the power of God that heals! God is ever present to do us good, and if we draw nigh to God, He will draw nigh to us. I have written this with the hope that it may help some one who is in trouble to look to divine Love alone for help in every time of need. Words fail to express my gratitude to God for all the good which has come to me since I have been looking into Christian Science.
