LETTERS TO OUR LEADER

Tacoma, Wash., Nov. 1, 1909.

Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy, Brookline, Mass.

Beloved Leader:—I wish to express to you my gratitude and love for the good that has come into my life through the study of Science and Health. Christian Science came to me and lifted me out of many physical ills when they seemed too great to be borne. Several years before my own healing through Christian Science, my little son, eight years old, bought a copy of Science and Health and gave it to me on my birthday. He had heard some ladies in the hotel where we were staying, talking about this wonderful book, so he asked his father to go with him to get one for me. Truly "a little child shall lead them." I read the book for a while, seeing in it only a beautiful religion, but I did not see that it was practical for physical ills.
