It is three years since I came to Christian Science and began to take treatment. I complained about many things and advanced but slowly, as I had much prejudice to overcome. Christian Science seemed to me to be too austere, but by and by it became clear to me that if one is obedient to Truth he is blessed thereby. The proof is right here, for I have been healed of a diseased lung, of enlarged veins, and of an illness which had made me an unhappy woman. One of the most memorable days during my healing and while I was being treated, unquestionably was when I attended a lecture on Christian Science. The turning-point in my life dates from that time, and the influence was a very wholesome one, especially on my character, as it freed me of many a fault. That night I was thankful to God with all my heart for Christian Science. I also wish to express my sincere gratitude to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
