It is about twelve years ago since my child was healed in Christian Science of severe bowel trouble. She was so ill that she could not keep anything on her stomach, and she finally became unconscious. The neighbors all said she could not live over night, and I really thought so myself. We had done all we could for her, and then my brother, who is a Christian Scientist, came in, and asked me to let him take the baby. I gave her to him, and he went out in the open air with her and was gone about a half hour. When he came back we had a well baby! She looked as bright and well as she ever did. I knew that no doctor could ever cure her, but through God's power as revealed in Christian Science she is here today. I am thankful to God for His goodness, and for Christian Science. I also had two children ill with a terrible disease, but they were cured by Christian Science and none of the rest of us ever took the disease.
